As parents we have the ability to change that.
Hi I’m Lauren!
I’m an adoptive mom of 3 kiddos who believes that diverse families deserve the right to thrive.
After starting my own journey in single motherhood, I struggled to figure out how to create experiences for my kids grounded in joy, connection and purpose, while I felt overwhelmed and unsure.
I remember the feeling of isolation in trying to figure out how to ensure our new family structure wasn’t defined by the struggle, but rather by the gift of the transition.
I now help other families and service providers do the same with learning resources, experiences and a community of families carving out joy in their own unique ways.
One of my favorite quotes is by the poet Toi Derricotte: “Joy is an act of resistance.”
I couldn’t agree more and if you are feeling alone on this journey, join us. We’re happy you are here.
Onwards,
Lauren
