It doesn’t have to be that way.
My name is Lauren and after working with students globally for around 15 years, I started to see an unsettling trend. The high achieving 17 year olds I was supporting all seemed anxious, uncertain and extremely exhausted.
I began to ask myself: How can we change this? How do we get students to be excited instead of exhausted?
With chronic exhaustion and anxiety comes burnout….dropping out and campus communities that are struggling instead of thriving.
I work with organizations to help turn this around by using purpose driven service, strategic community building and global citizenship to increase student retention, engagement and wellbeing.
My background Includes:
Becoming a TEDx speaker who with also spoke on education equity with a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate at the New York Bar Association

Developed mentor training programs with one of Time Magazine’s Top 50 Best EdTech Companies
Working with Columbia University School of Social Work as a Practicum Instructor for the School of Social Work
Partnering with international organizations, such as OXFAM and HIVOS, a a grant recipient to build out mental health programming in Tanzania
